Alex Wang Fall 2011

After a season sans black, it looks as if Alexander Wang has fallen in love with the dark pigment all over again for his Fall 2011 collection. Besides a moodier palette for the autumn, Wang also played with sheer materials and fur accents even on sunglasses. Experimenting with shapes, wide capes and voluminous jackets made an appearance on the runway for a return to his dark roots this season.

Lively in Lanvin

Oh No She Didn't! Blake Lively was a presenter at Spike TV's annual "Scream Awards" wearing head to toe Lanvin from the Spring 2011 collection. How the heck did she manage that when the runway show was only less than three weeks ago? Though she looks "good," she seems to make the to-die-for pleated dress, look somewhat hoochie like. Shrink those tits girl! Frida Gustavsson looks much better in this, don't you think?

Rick Owens Spring 2011

Rick Owens, master of minimalism, deconstruction and darkness, steps into a new light. Though his Spring 2011 line was still minimalistic, deconstructed and dark, it was more feminine and airy. A lot of empire waists, leather and floor length skirts, in the color pallete that he rarely strays from: Blacks, Whites and Greys with pops of moss green. He even works in a couple of elegant Grecian gowns at the end, but still doesn't loose his edge.

My God, I LOVE Paris Fashion Week. Anne Valerie Hash can do no wrong. This line was feminine yet cool. Easy draped pants and blazers with lots of asymmetrical jackets.
