So last night was quite a snore fest when it came to the red carpet and not to mention, Ricky Gervais' lack luster,
performance (well, compared to last year where he had us ROTF, crackin up). Instead of telling you guys who's ensemble I loved (no one really), I'll show you who made it on my worst-dressed list for the 2012 Golden Globe awards.
I hate mermaid dresses! Clearly, it was a big trend for the GG's but doesn't mean i gotta like it. Puke!

Kelly Osborne in Zac Posen |
Madeline Stowe, Please "stow" that Vera Wang dress away for a long long time. |
Catherine McPhee not a "smash-ing" hit in Donna Karan (she's in a new series called Smash, i'm tryin)
Stacey Keib...something, who cares, she won't be in Georges life too much longer now |
Elle Macphearson is the opposite of the "belle" of the ball in Zac Posen |
Sophia Vergara in custom Vera Wang |
Resse Witherspoon in Zac Posen |
Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta |
Debra Messing is a hot "mess" in Monique Lhullier |
Paula Patton in Monique Lhullier |
Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci. Why did you "rooin" your best dressed red carpet streak? |
Evan Rachel Wood in a custom made feathered Gucci Premier. |
More atrocities:
Amanda Peet in Marc Jacobs. Looks like a bunch of granny's old curtains or table runners all sewn together.
Missi Pyle wearing a "pile of ..." in Junko Yoshioka
Piper Perabo in Theyskens' Theory |
Sarah Michelle Gellar in a custom dyed dress from Monique Lhuillier. I dye! (in the worst possible way) |
When you add the above two together: nuclear explosion of nastiness! |
All sorts of wrong wrong wrong from Meryl Streep. Is that a western shirt you're wearing? |
And the piece de resistance? None other than the material girl herself, Madonna in Reem Acra. Madge donned a cross necklace, one finger-less glove, scary old man arms, and a taught & shiny bosom. What a travesty your Madge-esty.
And ones I really wanted to like but just couldn't:
Once again, Tilda Swinton is wearing Haider Ackermann. It's just "safe" for tilda. Nothing more, nothing less.
Michelle Williams in Jason Wu. There is no doubt that Michelle is adorable but her red carpet choices are always safe, might I even say, boring?! gasp. But seriously, please take of Matilda's head band and wear something less dowdy for the Oscars.
Natalie Portman in Lanvin. Just not loving it.Right?
Oh Zooey, Zooey, Zooey! I was so excited for you when you got nominated for The New Girl (best show ever), then you go ahead and disappoint me...big time! I get it, you love the 60's and want to be Jean Shrimpton, blah blah, but did you have to have that hair style, tonight of all nights? The dress itself is beautiful (Prada) though. I DID love her nails though:
Finally, Frida Pinto. One of the most beautiful people in the world and could wear anything. ANYTHING. And yet you wear this ill fitting Prada dress. Very cinderella silhouette. Yikes.
