The Show
More Lanvin for H&M
Irina Lazareanu stars in the highly anticipated Lanvin for H&M lookbook. Wearing pieces which pay homage to past Lanvin collections, Irina looks cool in a mix of youthful and elegant designs. In addition to black dresses, Irina also sports an explosion of prints and graphic patterns for the collaborative collection set to appear in select stores November 23.
The H&M Showroom presented strapless, asymmetrical, colorful, tulle, silk, puffy sleeved, one-sleeved dresses alongside graphic tshirts, faux fur coats. trenches, jackets, vests, shirts and blazers. Accessories included canvas graphic bags, shoes with embellished heels and ribbon details (my favorite!), leopard print, and floral clutches. Belts, necklaces, earrings, leather gloves, tights, sunglasses and even lipstick is included in this collection, all to make women feel even sexier!
Alber Elbaz said in his interview that, "This is not about a dress for less, it's more about bringing Lanvin to a wider audience." However, since the H&M's here in Minneapolis will not be carrying the designers collection, i'll be shopping online at www.hm.com at 7am GMT to purchase some of the pieces. Better to shop online than to be trampled to near death like most people will be in the "big" cities. Can't wait! What are your favorites?

Lanvin for HM
Here are a couple of sneak peek looks from Lanvin for H&M coming out on November 23rd. Unfortunately, the closest store that will be carring the French designers clothes will be in Chicago. Looks like most of his collection for the mass retailer will be evening attire, which Alber does so well. Most of the party frocks and jackets will range from $110 to $150 with accessories starting at $40. Expensive for H&M? Yes. Expensive for Lanvin? Hell to the no! Hopefully the quality and construction of the pieces will be worth the $cash$.

Lanvin for H&M

It's official! Alber Elbaz, head designer of the French house Lanvin, will be collaborating with H & M, consisting of women's and men's wear that will launch on November 20th. The womenswear collection will reportedly encompass 30 garments and 15 accessories, while the menswear will include 25 garments and about 10 accessories.
Elbaz says of the collection: “I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. I thought it was a smart concept so I say 'I do.' This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.”
